What are my qualifications?

I am a Nationally Certified Counselor and a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Colorado. I graduated from West Chester University in Pennsylvania with a Masters in School Counseling and am currently pursuing post-graduate training in Marriage and Family Therapy at Denver Family Institute. I have spent many years in the field working with children, teens and families of all types and backgrounds. While I am originally from Pennsylvania, I now live in Colorado and enjoy exploring the outdoors with my husband and dog.

What's my approach?

As a couples and family therapist I operate from a systemic approach, meaning I see the struggles in life through a lens that looks at the entire family system. I also work from a strengths based perspective. I believe every individual has their own strengths and I strive to emphasize those strengths and build upon them. I believe everyone is unique in their own way and has their own gifts to contribute to their family and society. Because everyone is unique, I use therapeutic techniques that are individualized to each client.

How can I help you?

Relationships bring a lot of joy to our lives, however they can also bring frustration and stress. I am passionate about creating happy and supportive connections and I will strive to help you in building your family and relationships to be healthy and joyful for everyone. Through my compassionate and understanding nature, I work to empower individuals and support you throughout your journey in life in order to achieve personal growth.
